DPT 524 - Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy II Semester Hours: 3 This course is the second course in a series of two to cover examination, evaluation and interventions of a patient/client with musculoskeletal dysfunctions. This course presents pathology, disease process, clinical presentations, differential diagnosis, musculoskeletal examination, standardized assessment, outcome measurement, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention of a patient/client with musculoskeletal dysfunctions. The course focuses on physical therapy management of the patients with musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the spine, pelvic region, and lower extremities.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Prerequisites for this course include all preceding coursework in the curriculum. Any exceptions require approval from the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
