This course applies Design Thinking principles and concepts to address business ideas and challenges in the realm of new product development and service design. Design thinking principles focus on rapid proto-typing, encouragement of failures, bias for action, and provides a pathway for brainstorming from inquiry to a product/service idea. The course is designed to be a laboratory course with an initial conceptual discussion and understanding of the design thinking principles and processes.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to matriculated graduate students in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and in other Schools at Hofstra where appropriate.
