JRNL 57 - Graphic Design for Publication

Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
This is a course in graphics and design for newspapers, magazine, newsletters, other publications, and Web sites. Students will learn to apply basic principles of visual communication, design and composition and study how to use photography, illustration, typography and color to add interest and convey information in diverse publications. The effect of emerging technologies will also be discussed.

Prerequisites & Course Notes
JRNL 56 or permission of instructor. No liberal arts credit. Lab fees additional.
