HIST 177 - Special Studies in History: War & Peace in the Nuclear Age
This course looks at the history of the cold war up to the present
moment through a combination of readings, discussion, and video. Topics
covered include atomic diplomacy, nuclear proliferation, the economics
of military spending, the global arms trade, regional conflicts in the
1990s and collective security and disarmament.
Prerequisites & Notes
Ordinarily not open to freshmen and sophomores.
