ELED 258 - Introduction to Information Technology in Education The classroom teacher is called upon to use new technologies to
facilitate the teaching and learning process. This course focuses on
the integration of information technologies across the early
childhood/elementary curriculum. A variety of information technologies
including computers, scanners, digital cameras, and video capture
devices. The Internet and communication tools are explored with a view
toward enhancing classroom instruction. Students initiate the
development of their professional electronic portfolios which continue
to evolve throughout the M.S. in Education program.
