CT 260 - Foundations, Theory and Practice of Bilingual Education Consideration of the sociocultural, linguistic, and educational needs
of language minority students and the programs designed to respond to
their needs. Attention given to the history of bilingual education in
the United States, including relevant legislation and litigation, as
well as research that relates to the development of effective
bilingual/bicultural education programs. Bilingual, bicultural
education program models are presented and analyzed.
