IT 122 - Networking Technologies Utilizing Microsoft Software

Semester Hours: 3
Once a year
An in-depth study of networking technology involving the use of Microsoft Corporation network software. Topics include a study of Windows 98 and 2000 network components and Windows NT Client Server. Global considerations involve the study of the Internet Information Server and Exchange Server. Issues of ethics, software piracy, and global access considerations will be discussed. Numerous course projects, including the construction of a LAN with all of its component parts will be an integral part of this course.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
IT 120; junior class standing or above. (Formerly BCIS 122.)
