Research and writing of a substantial essay in the field of comparative literature.
Prerequisites & Notes Open only to senior majors who are eligible for departmental honors and who have secured, before registration, the written permission of the faculty adviser who will supervise the essay. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. Note: CLL 196, 197, 198 satisfy the same major requirement.
