ENGL 157 - (LT) The Age of Dickens Fall, Spring
Writings of the industrial and colonial age in Britain, the 19th century. Readings explore changes in social structure, education, religion, science, and everyday life in the Victorian age; works by such authors as Dickens, the Brontes, Tennyson, the Brownings, Arnold, Gaskell, Eliot, and Butler.
Prerequisites & Notes ENGL 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency Exam requirement.
