ENGL 172 - Book Editing I

Fall
Practices that make up the complete editing of a book: copy and manuscript editing. Production editing, proofreading, symbols, printer’s marks and marking up a manuscript ready for the printer. The use of a style book.

Prerequisites & Notes
ENGL 1 and 2. Students taking the Publishing Studies concentration must take ENGL 172 and 173. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency Exam requirement.
