ENGL 137 - Colonial and Early American Literature From the Puritans Through Irving Periodically
An intensive examination of the literature and ideas of Colonial
America through the early Republic in personal narratives, essays,
sermons, and poetry by such writers as Bradford, Mather, Bradstreet,
Rowlandson, Edwards, and Franklin.
Prerequisites & Notes ENGL 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency
Exam requirement.
