ENGL 177A - Textbook Editing

Periodically
A study of the categories within the textbook division-various age levels and fields of study-emphasizing the editorial practices essential to a clear presentation of information. Students edit one entire manuscript including copy editing, proofreading, design and production. The nature of the market, its distribution and promotion.

Prerequisites & Notes
ENGL 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the English Proficiency Exam requirement.
