GEOL 3 - (NS) Astrogeology Periodically
Utilizing the latest advances in scientific research, this course
introduces students to the history of space travel and analysis of
planetary geological data. Lecture topics include the internal
structure and evolution of the earth-moon system in comparison to the
other planets in our solar system. Laboratories include
terrestrial sample analysis, cartographic studies, video and
computer-based analysis. (2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory.)
Prerequisites & Notes (Formerly Astrogeology–Planetary Science and Geology of the Planets.)
