GEOL 33 - Environmental Geomorphology


Every other Spring
Origin and development of constructional, depositional and erosional landforms with regard to geologic process (uplife, mass wasting, earthquakes, etc.) and their effect on engineering activities through urban and industrial expansion. Includes the examination and interpretation of features from topographic and geologic maps and aerial photos, and considers the criteria necessary for basic regional planning. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
