GEOL 115 - Lunar and Planetary Geology Periodically
Interpretation of topographic and geologic features of the Moon, Mars and other
planets based on the analysis of the latest available data; the origin, history
and geologic activity of extraterrestrial bodies; the physical properties and
motions of the solar system; comparisons of Earth features and principles with
those of the extraterrestrial bodies. Includes the analysis of NASA photos, maps
and other data. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
