GEOL 135 - Sedimentation

Every other year
Principles related to the weathering, erosion, transport and deposition of sediments. The analysis and interpretation of sourcearea indicators, solution and abrasion history, bedding features and flow conditions, and depositional environments based on the analysis of sediments and sedimentary rocks. Statistical parameters used to distinguish sediments from different environments. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
