ITAL 108 - Individualized Oral Communication


Fall, Spring
Stresses authentic intonation patterns, oral proficiency, and listening comprehension. Students meet on an individual basis once a week for twenty-five minutes with an instructor who is a native speaker of standard Italian. These sessions are augmented by language laboratory and off-campus experiences.

Prerequisites & Notes
ITAL 4 or equivalent. For Italian majors or minors, or students concurrently enrolled in any Italian course beyond ITAL 4. Note: may not be used to satisfy the foreign language requirement; course may be taken for a total of six semesters with a maximum of 3 s.h. applied toward the B.A. degree.
