ELED 121A - Student Teaching: Elementary Education Fall, Spring
Full-time student teaching in cooperating schools with direct supervision from
University supervisors. Students have two placements during the semester: one
in grades 1-3 and one in grades 4-6. Weekly seminars are required, including child
abuse and maltreatment; child abduction; substance abuse prevention; safety education,
and fire and arson prevention.
Prerequisites & Notes Must be taken concurrently with ELED 123A. Admission by application by October
1 or March 1 to the Office of Field Placement and interview. Pass/D+/D/Fail grade
only. Credit given for this course or 121, not both. See Elementary Education
