ENGL 172 - Book Editing I

Semester Hours: 3
Fall
Practices that make up the complete editing of a book: copy and manuscript editing. Production editing, proofreading, symbols, printer’s marks and marking up a manuscript ready for the printer. Oral presentation required.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
WSC 001 . Students taking the Publishing Studies concentration must take ENGL 172 and 173 .
