IDSS 003 - Interdisciplinary Science Seminar IIISemester Hours: 1 Fall, Spring
The interdisciplinary science seminars are a series of problem-solving workshops designed to reinforce students’ knowledge of basic science content and deepen their understanding of science by challenging them to solve problems that integrate content accross the traditional natural science disciplinary boundaries. These seminars will also help students develop the problem-solving and analytical skills critical to successful careers in the sciences and medicine. There are four seminars in the series. This seminar integrates concepts from physics, biology and general chemistry.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 011 , 012 ; CHEM 003A , 003B , 004A , 004B ; overall and science GPA of 3.0 or higher or permission of instructor. Corequisites: PHYS 001A and 001B or 011A and 011B . Pass/Fail grade only.
