CMHP 101 - Intake and Assessment TechniquesSemester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
This course provides a broad understanding of the categories of assessment and basic information gathering strategies to use with clients in the human services professions. Students will become familiar with the tools, skills, techniques, and behaviors that are necessary to be proficient in the area of evaluation. Lecture and practical activities will be utilized to facilitate learning of the material. Students will have the opportunity to observe assessment and interviewing techniques through live and video demonstrations.
