LYST 302 - Introduction to M.A. Portfolio Preparation


Semester Hours: 1
Summer
This course examines the nature and purposes of the use of portfolio evaluation in assessment, and self-assessment of writing. Course includes procedures for selection of materials and compilation. Professional uses of writing portfolio assessment in educational settings are explored. 

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
This course is required in both M.A. in the Teaching of Writing  programs. Must be taken during the first 12 hours of course work. Pass/Fail grade only.
