MPHY 252 - Fundamentals of Nuclear Medicine Semester Hours: 3 Fall
This course presents the fundamentals of nuclear medicine, including gamma cameras, single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography (PET), and hybrid PET/CT systems, as well as their uses in diagnosis and image-guided therapy.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MPHY 214 . Open only to students enrolled in the M.S. program in medical physics or permission of program director. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
