BIO 160 - Human GeneticsSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
Human genetics explores the post-genomic era of the human genome, the regulation of genes, and the more advanced aspects of Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance. Course will explore advances in transgene uses, gene therapy and in the use of model organisms to understand human diseases and disorders. Primary literature and case studies will illustrate topics.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 135 and junior standing or permission of instructor. May not be taken on a Pass/D/D+/Fail basis.
