BIO 164 - Introduction to Scanning Electron MicroscopySemester Hours: 3 Fall
The scanning electron microscope as a principle tool for biological data acquisition. Instruction in the use of the scanning electron microscope, as well as project design and project implementation in a faculty member’s ongoing research program. Fulfills one of the two lab courses required for a biology major. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 011 , 012 , 013 , 014 and permission of instructors. Lab fee additional.
