PSY 246 - Practicum Supervision Course II Continued Semester Hours: 1
Fall
This is the first of two courses in the second level practicum supervision sequence. In this course students will build upon the concepts introduced in PSY 244 and 245, and will increase their knowledge of various evidence-based interventions within the school setting. The course will focus on application of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents who struggle with such disorders as anxiety, depression, impulse control, anger management, and frustration tolerance. Students will become skilled in determing which types of evidence-based treatments are appropriate given the behaviors of each child/adolescent.
