Continuation of supervised practicum (SPCH 225A) for diagnosis and evaluation at the Hofstra Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. Students conduct and administer evaluations to individuals at different developmental levels from culturally and linguistically diverse populations. A weekly seminar focuses on advanced topics for the evaluation and diagnosis of various speech-language disorders, including evaluation procedures for special populations and in different settings, electronic evaluations and record-keeping, and state-of-the-art simulation technology.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Minimum GPA of 3.0. Prerequisites: SPCH 229, 225A. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
