A Minor in Public Relations consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours in Public Relations, with at least 15 semester hours in residence, under advisement, and with the approval of the adviser. Students who minor in Public Relations must complete the courses listed below.
        Internships for departmental credit are reserved for department majors only.

• JRNL 11 - News Writing and Reporting Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
• JRNL 60 - Fundamentals of Public Relations Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
• JRNL 62 - Public Relations Research Methods and Assessment Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
• JRNL 63 - Public Relations Copywriting Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
• JRNL 64 - Public Relations Case Studies Semester Hours: 3 s.h.
