Consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours in speech communication and rhetorical studies, with at least 6 semester hours in residence, under advisement and with the approval of the adviser. Students with a minor in speech communication and rhetorical studies who take RHET 001  for distribution credit as a School of Communication foundation course may not receive credit for SPCM as part of the minor.
