The program is based on the foundation of research and practice concerned with the development and use of educational technology for meaningful learning. Consistent with this mission, special emphasis is placed on designing innovative ways of using technology to help students relate new experiences and ideas to what they already know. Therefore, the purpose of the Certificate in Educational Technology is to meet the needs of educators aspiring to become instructional coordinators and leaders in educational technology.
