The minor in Meteorology is meant for students who wish to develop a background in weather and climate studies sufficient to allow them to explore post-graduate studies and employment opportunities in meteorology, climate science, and weather forecasting. Students may earn a minor in Meteorology by completing 18 s.h. of coursework, with a grade of C- or above, as defined below. At least 6 s.h. must be in-residence. Not more than 6 s.h. from the major can count toward the minor.
