SPED 207 - Introduction to Young Children With Disabilities Semester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
Introduction to the historical, social, and legislative foundations of early childhood special education. This course considers infants and toddlers’ educational needs with developmental delays and preschoolers through second graders with disabilities. Public programs, family needs, and professional responsibilities will be examined. A minimum of 20 clock hours of site visitation will be required, including a high-needs school district.
