NUR 412 - Doctoral Project: Scholarly Project Planning and Proposal


Semester Hours: 1
This course immerses the advanced nursing practice doctoral (DNP) student within the healthcare organization practicum site. Students will integrate their knowledge of transformational leadership within healthcare organization’s coalition development, change processes, and resolution of challenges to project implementation. In consultation and mentorship with a DNP Project Faculty Advisor, students will complete the DNP project proposal based on the principles of evidence-based practice and improvement science that incorporates planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination concepts. This will provide a foundation for continued scholarship and project implementation.
