BIO 213 - Current Topics in Genetics and Evolution
Once a year
A problem-based overview of biology for graduate students. Designed for students
with little or no prior experience in biology course work, this course covers
the basics of genetics, the function and manipulation of DNA, evolution, and ecology.
Problems within each topic allow the student to understand the conceptual basis
of the topic and obtain the skills needed to approach more complex issues.
Prerequisites & Notes
May not be taken for credit toward a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. in Biology.
Recommended for Elementary Education majors. May not be taken on a Pass/ Fail
basis.
Credits: 3 s.h.
