EADM 266 - Educational Program Development, Delivery and Assessment Once a year
Introduces students to a variety of perspectives, including traditional as well
as contemporary reconceptualization of curriculum and learning processes. Core
educational technologies, including educational needs assessment, goal consensus
testing, educational program planning (with participatory involvement, staff development,
resources deployment, progress monitoring, budgeting, evaluation and accountability
reporting components), educational change and risk-taking, school support services,
and the nonacademic curriculum are studied. Competencies are developed through
case studies, role-playing, lecture/discussion, team and individual assignments,
and substantive readings. Achievement is determined through the quality and degree
of mastery demonstrated in the undertaking of these activities.
