PSY 261 - Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis in Professional Psychology Fall, Spring
This course examines the methods of behavior therapy and applied behavior analysis
in relation to various forms of psychopathology (including minor and major mental
disorders). It shows how application of these methods can change dysfunctional
behaviors, including dysfunctional nonverbal behavior, speaking, listening, and
thinking. Practicum or laboratory experiences are required.
Prerequisites & Notes PSY 208 or 255. Credit given for this course or 260, not both. (Formerly Applied
Behavior Analysis of Professional Psychology) Open only to matriculated students
in a doctoral program in psychology.
