This course introduces advanced doctoral candidates in the Clinical and School
Psychology Programs to the concepts, principles and issues associated with marital
and family therapy. Both communication disorders and behavioral problems in the
context of marriage and the family will be emphasized. The lecture will be accompanied
by supervised assignment to therapist team pairs to work with families in which
one or more members have been identified as dysfunctional.
Prerequisites & Notes Open only to matriculated students in a doctoral program in psychology.
