Readings, discussion and practicum related to the specific psychological problems
of the hearing impaired; modes and methods of communication, verbal and nonverbal;
appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques, client-centered, behavioral, rationalemotive,
etc.; instruction in total communication and practice in small group and individual
therapy sessions under supervision.
