SPCH 210 - Discourse Processes: Computer Analysis
Periodically
Methods of computer analysis of normal and disordered discourse from preschool
age to adults. Course consists of lecture, discussion and hands-on computer lab
experience. Students are required to obtain, electronically transcribe and analyze
samples of discourse using the SALT program (Systemic Analysis of Language Transcripts).
Prerequisites & Notes
SPCH 209 or permission. (Formerly Computer Methods of Analysis; Language Behavior;
Discourse Processes.)
