SPCH 212 - Communication in Healthy Aging

Summer
Focuses on the biologic, psychologic and physiologic changes that affect communication. The natural aging processes that underlie speech, language and hearing are contrasted with pathological changes in communication. Cultural and linguistic influences are explored. .

Prerequisites & Notes
Available to graduate students in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology; Counseling, Special Education, and Rehabilitation.
