ELED 249 - Practicum for Teachers of Bilingual Children

Once a year
Extended teaching practice with close clinical supervision. Admission by application and interview. Applications obtainable at the Office of Field Placement, to be returned by October 1 for the spring semester and by March 1 for the fall semester. Seminars meet weekly with supervisory personnel from the Curriculum and Teaching Department and public school districts to work intensively with specific student problems. Demonstration classes and observations of innovative programs in bilingual settings in local school districts are arranged.

Prerequisites & Notes
Pass/Fail grade only.

Credits: 3 s.h.
