SED 213 - Adolescent Development and Learning Fall, Spring, Summer
Theory and research in adolescent development with emphasis on physical, cognitive,
affective, and social changes that influence adolescents’ experiences and achievement
in school. Extensive application of this work to curriculum, instruction and assessment
in secondary schools. Intended primarily for students seeking initial certification
in secondary education. Requires 20 hours of classroom observations and participation
in secondary schools.
