SED 280-9, A-Z - Advanced Workshops

Designed to meet the needs of individual or specific groups of student or faculties of individual schools who want help in the solution of curricula or other school problems.

Prerequisites & Notes
Permission of Secondary Education faculty. As individual subjects are selected, each is assigned a letter (A-Z) and added to the course number. Any course may be taken a number of times so long as there is a different letter designation each time it is taken. Teaching Specialization Courses (3 s.h. each): Note: methods courses (290-298A, 299A) are usually offered only during the fall semester; 298B and 299B are offered in the spring. Students should check with their advisers in Secondary Education in order to plan their sequence of courses. Students enrolling in these courses are expected to set aside a three-hour block of time one day a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. for observation and participation in selected public schools.
