MFT 244 - Biopsychosocial Influences and Psychopharmocolgy of Addictive Behavior Fall
This course provides a basic understanding of the impact of addiction on the
body from the behavioral, psychological and physical perspective. Neurotransmitters
and their role in detoxification, relapse and remission will be addressed. State
of the art psychopharmocological interventions will be highlighted. This transdisciplinary
foundation underlies the work of all addiction counselors and professionals.
