LYST 200 - Writing With Adolescents and Young Adults Fall, Spring
Focuses on leading edge theory viewing writing as a fluid process heavily influenced
by the personal, social, cultural, and political contexts in which writers, and
their readers, function. Explores how writing, as well as reading and related
language processes, serve as foundations for lifelong learning/inquiry, with emphasis
on writing about reading. Topics include assessment/evaluation of, and response
to, student writing and instruction.
Prerequisites & Notes (Formerly WRIT 200, Theories and Research in the Teaching of Writing.)
