This course examines the nature and purposes of portfolio evaluation and procedures
for selection and compilation. Professional uses of portfolio assessment in educational
settings are explored.
Prerequisites & Notes This course is required in all Master of Science in Education in Literacy Studies
programs, in all Master of Science in Literacy Studies and Special Education programs.
Must be taken during the first 12 semester hours of course work. Pass/Fail grade
only.
