READ 255 - Psychological Foundations of Reading and Writing Instruction

Designed to acquaint students with the psychological foundations of the reading and writing processes. The interrelationship of learning theory and personality factors and their application to reading and writing instruction are stressed. The multidisciplinary nature of research into the reading, writing and thinking processes is noted.
