MGT 203 - Operations Management Fall, Spring
Examination of how manufacturing and service processes utilize human resources,
technology, equipment, materials, information and capital to create goods and
services. Traditional concepts like operations strategies, production management,
inventory management, quality management, project management and management of
operations are covered. In addition, new topics such as supply chain management,
demand chain management, new technologies, outsourcing are also discussed as they
affect organizational efficiency and growth.
Prerequisites & Notes Credit given for this course or MGT 201C, not both. Open only to matriculated
Zarb School of Business graduate students and/or matriculated School of Education
and Allied Human Services graduate students where appropriate.
