MKT 310 - Thesis in Marketing Research Periodically
Student designs and executes a marketing research study for a company or not
for profit organization to help it solve a marketing problem or evaluate a marketing
opportunity. The student works individually under the guidance of a thesis adviser
on a one-on-one basis. After consultation with the thesis adviser who will approve
the specific topic, the student must present the proposal to the department chairperson
before registering for MKT 310. The student is required to prepare a written report
of the findings and make an oral presentation to a faculty committee and/or the
company executives.
Prerequisites & Notes 9 s.h. of marketing courses, including MKT 245, QM 203, QM 250, and permission
of the department chairperson. Corequisite: MKT 280. Open only to matriculated
M.S. in Marketing Research students.
Credits: 3 s.h.
