BCIS 201 - Information Technology Fall, Spring
Introduction to the use of computer hardware, software, and connectivity in a
business environment. Students gain an understanding of computer capabilities
and limitations, ethical issues, and systems analysis and design concepts with
the aim of understanding appropriate use of information system technology in domestic
and global environments. Software including basic and intermediate spreadsheet
modeling, database managment, groupware, and Internet tools are covered.(Formerly
